Meditation: Relaxing Back into Awareness
21:28
Tara Brach
When we are in our daily trance, we are often leaning forward, on our way somewhere else. In this meditation we are guided to relax back into the awareness that is always, already here. We explore relaxing back through a body scan, and then with all our senses wide open. With practice we increasingly find our pathway home by relaxing the clench of doings, and resting in what is.

Getting deeply familiar with the felt-sense of wishing well-being and kindness, and allowing ourselves to be deeply touched as we wish particular aspects: clarity of mind; health in body; peacefulness; at-home-ness in our bodies and in the world; contentment; joy; and profound ease and freedom with all things.

Secure Connection, Free Roaming

Removing our harness to the world, we really detach and make the intention in the mind to stop. Having moved inwardly into this now moment, we pause and secure our internal connection to truth. This work requires our faith, vigilance, sustained attention, care and perseverance. We long for freedom and it will arise, releasing us to roam free in the vast space of the mind – empty and awake. A guided meditation and Dhamma talk.
