2017-06-16 Teaching on Embodiment and Guided Meditation – Descending from the Top of Your Brain to the Basin of Your Heart 61:10
Ajahn Sucitto
As we meditate, we might find ourselves dropping through layers of experience. Bits that are stuck and not yet resolved keep getting triggered. What we thought was past keeps coming in – people, places, events – and it’s happening now. But there is something that doesn’t move forward in time, a foundational experience of just being present. From this place of primary embodiment, where citta meets the body, we can begin to release the layers of construction that bind us.

2017-06-14 Meditation: Homecoming to Our Life Breath 15:59
Tara Brach
Perhaps the most universal place to collect and deepen attention is the breath. This meditation begins with an intentional breath that calms the nervous system, and then opens to a clear, intimate presence with our natural breathing. With breath as our home base, we practice returning again and again when the mind becomes distracted. As presence grows, we can let the breath be in the foreground, and include whatever waves of life come and go. This brings a quiet mind, and a peaceful, happy heart.

Eugene Cash
Exploring what we think death is and it’s role and function as part of Buddhist meditation and realization. We examine the role of death in our conventional lives with the arising and passing of roles, worlds we’re involved with & times and stages of our life that pass. What happens as we normalize the dying process as part of the great letting go. How does letting go reveal the awakened heart?

2017-06-07 Meditation: Home to Awake Awareness 16:58
Tara Brach
This guided practice establishes a kind, friendly attention with the image and felt sense of a smile, and evokes an embodied presence. We open to the awake awareness that is listening to and feeling the changing sounds and sensations; and then the awake awareness that experiences our own heart. We end with a lovingkindness prayer for ourself and the world.
