This talk overviews the larger mindfulness movement--the science, the ways mindfulness has been incorporated into society, and the definitions. The second half explores the practical elements of mindfulness and how to practice it.
These regularly scheduled evenings will begin with a guided meditation and then open up to our practice questions allowing us time to deepen in Sangha through mindful community discussion.
There are five benefits
1. having a peaceful mind
2. subtle and refined breathing
3. not being thirsty, no need of drinking water
4. having happy mind states
5. overcoming unwholesome mental state easily
