Essential Teachings of the Path of Awakening

Essential Teachings of the Path of Awakening retreats provide an opportunity to explore the teachings and practices of Buddhist meditation in a supportive environment. Through the combination of mindfulness meditation, wisdom teachings, silence and community, we can develop calm, kindheartedness and a sense of well-being. In this silent retreat we will explore essential Buddhist teachings and meditation practices. There will be systematic instructions in Insight Meditation, as well as in loving-kindness (metta) practice. The evening talks will highlight the central teachings of the Buddha and their practical application to our lives.
