Ayya Santacitta Bhikkhuni
Ayya Santacitta has practiced meditation since 1988 and is co-founder of Aloka Vihara, a Theravada monastic residence for women in San Francisco, CA. She trained as a nun in both East and West, primarily at Amaravati Monastery from 1993-2009, and received bhikkhuni ordination in 2011.
